Ed Gades - President

Ed Gades has been building and managing programs and applications for over 30 years in many industry sectors in the U.S. and across Canada. Ed's entrepreneurial style and in-depth understanding of business requirements has made him a valuableresource in the growth of every organization he has worked with.

Prior to launching Critical Document Services Inc. (CDS), Ed helped form and then served as President of Gateway Data Solutions, a Western Canada business services company. The company subsequently merged with Globel Direct Inc., a national direct marketing service company, in 1999. During his 4 year tenure with Globel, he held the positions of VicePresident of Business Development and Emerging Technologies, and later took on the role of Vice President of Western Operations.

Ed's expertise include developing new business solutions and project managing from project specification and implementation to ensuring service level compliance in order to exceed the customer's needs. As a business professional, he continually delivers superior results to both his customers and company stakeholders.


Rick Wilson - Vice-President, Treasurer

Rick Wilson cut his teeth in the service industry at the age of 14 starting as a Bellman working for the Ramada Huntingdon Manor Inn, a small hotel in Victoria, British Columbia. Subsequently Rick became one of the youngest Duty Managers working for Delta Hotels and Resorts in Whistler and Vancouver BC. Rick rounded out his service career within the restaurant industry, earning the position of General Manager at Hunters Restaurant and Bar, Victoria BC. At the age of 25, Rick started his sales career with A&B Sound in Vancouver. After spending three years in retail sales, Rick moved into his new life called, Printing!

In 1995 Rick started with ColorWorks in Vancouver where he was promoted to major accounts within three months. In June 1997 Rick moved on to start a Calgary based digital services company with no budget, no clients and one employee. In five short years, Rick has grown that company to over 20 full time employees, supplying services to companies ranging in size from independent businesses to national corporations.
